The ordinary preaching schedule is taking a turn as Ben goes to the Far East on a preaching tour. We are encouraged that God has raised up a good team here and blessed us with those we know who are willing come and help us.
Over the next few weeks we have James Cater, evangelist at Carey Baptist Church in Reading on the morning of Sunday 20th (No 9am service) and Geoff Weekes of Widcombe Baptist Church in the evenings doing a four part series on John’s Gospel, chapters 14-17. Then at our anniversary service on November 3rd at 10:30 (No 9am service) we have Rupert Bentley Taylor preaching who is presently preaching at Emmanuel Church in Bath. That serive is followed by a fellowship meal. Then we have our own Phil Taylor doing a three part series in the Psalms and Richard Haddow sharing for the first time as well. So all in all a pretty exciting line up. Come along and hear the great news about Jesus.
Sunday mornings are loosely structured around the Book of Acts. Early last year we began reading Acts together and giving time during each service to thinking through the issues each portion we read raised with us.
