*** Due to weather conditions this morning’s service is cancelled ***
We have Daniel down with us at Phil’s but the weather is poor for travel. We’ll review this as the day goes on and are considering an afternoon service but the forecast makes this unlikely too. We’ll also look at an option to record or broadcast something though Daniel has said he hopes to return and visit in June anyway.
Have a great morning, do let us know if you are in need at all, spend some time in God‘s word and in prayer, there are some great sermon resources available online, so redeem the time. Help a neighbour and have fun if snow is your thing.
More news later please check the Facebook page for latest updates.
Our morning worship service typically lasts about 1.5 hours.
The whole church spends the first 30 minutes together, and then we split off with separate teaching groups for the young people. There’s also a crèche room which you’re very welcome to take little ones out to.
Our Sunday services usually comprise:
- Welcome and notices
- Some periods of sung worship
- A reading
- A sermon
For church members and regular attenders there is a collection taken during the morning service, but there is no obligation at all to give – we are just very happy to have you with us!
Currently the adults are going through the book of Hebrews together in the morning service. You can listen to previous sermons on the “sermons” section of the church website.
All age service this Sunday Morning at 10:30.
Christmas Day service is at 10 am, there will be no evening service.
On New Year’s Day, morning service is at the normal time of 10:30, but there will be no evening service.
Perhaps understandably the peacock has become a byword for a show off, and no one likes one of those.
The Christian has nothing to boast about though, nothing that is except the grace Jesus Christ has shown them.
Come and hear about His wonderful grace here at NBBC this Sunday at 10:30 as we come together to worship God and read from Paul’s letter in the Bible to the Ephesians (2:8-10).
We are saved by grace alone!
Join us today to hear about our God and King who brings life as a gift freely given. In the morning our service starts at 10:30 with our Pastor Ben speaking on Ephesians 1:1-15, and this evening we will be continuing our series in Deuteronomy.
We’re testing out a new feature on the website – with the intention of interacting with more people and getting to know our website users over time. So we’re starting with a simple question:
Can a letter written 2,000 years ago and a sermon spoken more than three thousand years ago have any relevance to us?
Join us this Sunday to find out: in the morning we will be starting a new study in Ephesians ( a letter written 2,000 years ago), and in the evening we will be continuing our study in Deuteronomy (a sermon delivered by Moses to the people of Israel).
Join us this week at 10:30am and 6pm. In the morning in the morning we will be continuing our study in Acts and in the evening we will be continuing with Deuteronomy.
Remember last weeks sermons are available on-line, including the evening study on Deuteronomy on the subject of giants – perhaps we should have sent that to the England team….
