*** Due to weather conditions this morning’s service is cancelled ***
We have Daniel down with us at Phil’s but the weather is poor for travel. We’ll review this as the day goes on and are considering an afternoon service but the forecast makes this unlikely too. We’ll also look at an option to record or broadcast something though Daniel has said he hopes to return and visit in June anyway.
Have a great morning, do let us know if you are in need at all, spend some time in God‘s word and in prayer, there are some great sermon resources available online, so redeem the time. Help a neighbour and have fun if snow is your thing.
More news later please check the Facebook page for latest updates.
Towards the end of the day it is good to gather again around God’s word, spend time in prayer together and sing God’s praise.
We are currently working through the Old Testament in our evening services, and will be looking at Ruth and 1 Samuel in 2019.
The service tends to have a more intimate and informal feel than the morning service, and so we regularly have the opportunity for open prayer and discussion as part of the meeting.
The service typically lasts about 75 minutes with refreshments served at the end. You would be very welcome to join us!
Our morning worship service typically lasts about 1.5 hours.
The whole church spends the first 30 minutes together, and then we split off with separate teaching groups for the young people. There’s also a crèche room which you’re very welcome to take little ones out to.
Our Sunday services usually comprise:
- Welcome and notices
- Some periods of sung worship
- A reading
- A sermon
For church members and regular attenders there is a collection taken during the morning service, but there is no obligation at all to give – we are just very happy to have you with us!
Currently the adults are going through the book of Hebrews together in the morning service. You can listen to previous sermons on the “sermons” section of the church website.
“Tiddlers” is our toddler group which runs through term time from 10.00-11:30am. It’s a popular event with plenty of toys, coffee for the grown-ups, snacks for the little ones and a time of singing and Bible stories.
You will be very welcome to join us!
The flyer below has some information on the group:
We also have a facebook page for the various kids groups at NBBC, so why not log in there for updates and info.
If you need any further info please call Hana on 01225 763 583.
For Primary aged kids we have the Signposts Club every Friday during term time.
The club is on Fridays starting at 6:00pm, so come along for an hour and have a great time!
Once every couple of months we also run “The Hub” on a Sunday afternoon from 4-6pm. This is an opportunity for the families to come along to an accessible church service which also incorporates a time of games and a light meal together. There’s info about both Signposts and The Hub on the flyer below:
A very warm welcome awaits you at our forthcoming Christmas services. We look forward to seeing you there
Christmas Day service is at 10 am, there will be no evening service.
On New Year’s Day, morning service is at the normal time of 10:30, but there will be no evening service.
Services this Christmas are going to be held on the 20th at 10:30 for our Family Carol service (children welcome in nativity costumes!), and at 5:00pm for the Village nine lessons and carols service. Then, on the 25th at 10:00am there’s a short Christmas service (there is a tree so if families want to bring something for the children to open afterwards, that’ll be fine).
Mince pies all round! Hope to see you.
Join us today to hear about our God and King who brings life as a gift freely given. In the morning our service starts at 10:30 with our Pastor Ben speaking on Ephesians 1:1-15, and this evening we will be continuing our series in Deuteronomy.
