We’re running ‘Facing Fears’ again, the biblically based course. It is run by a qualified psychologist and looks at the thoughts, biology, behaviours and most importantly, the heart of anxiety.

This time it is being run in an intensive one-day format rather than over the usual 4-weeks. Our last course booked up extremely quickly so please contact events@nbbc.org.uk or call on 07900 256937 to book your place (suggested donation £5)

Emmaus School Choir visit

emmaus

On Wednesday, children from Emmaus School, which is our local Christian School, with which we have links, came to sing at our Together meeting.

We thought you might like to hear some of their singing, we certainly did.

Hosanna!

Christmas at NBBC

image

Services this Christmas are going to be held on the 20th at 10:30 for our Family Carol service (children welcome in nativity costumes!), and at 5:00pm for the Village nine lessons and carols service. Then, on the 25th at 10:00am there’s a short Christmas service (there is a tree so if families want to bring something for the children to open afterwards, that’ll be fine).

Mince pies all round! Hope to see you.

Sunday November 15 2015

Join us today to hear about our God and King who brings life as a gift freely given. In the morning our service starts at 10:30 with our Pastor Ben speaking on Ephesians 1:1-15, and this evening we will be continuing our series in Deuteronomy.

Women’s Conference recordings

women's dayThis year saw our second women’s conference ably lead by Catherine who delivered three sessions on the subject – Beauty through Brokenness. It was a real privilege to host so many who joined together for what proved to be an important meeting.

The recordings are available now to listen to on-line or download and be accessed here:

Session1: Emotions: mirrors of the heart.

Session 2: Suffering the sneers, the fears and the tears.

Session 3: His beauty through our brokenness.

Sunday October 11 2015

Can a letter written 2,000 years ago and a sermon spoken more than three thousand years ago have any relevance to us?

Join us this Sunday to find out: in the morning we will be starting a new study in Ephesians ( a letter written 2,000 years ago), and in the evening we will be continuing our study in Deuteronomy (a sermon delivered by Moses to the people of Israel).
