Guidance can be a frustrating issue for Christians. We know that Jesus has died and been raised, and that heaven lies in the future, but we can remain a bit vague about everything in between. On Friday 16th January at 6.00pm, we are starting a 6-week DVD/Discussion group looking at this thorny subject. Come along and find out how you can know God’s will for your life!
239 years is a long time. 1775, the year North Bradley Baptist Church was founded, was also the year that the American Revolution began. Much has changed since then on both sides of the pond. But during that time God has been faithful, and he has not changed. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The Christian message remains the best news ever, and is as relevant as ever.
Come and join us on 2nd November at 10.30am and at 6.00pm as we celebrate God’s goodness with our anniversary services. There will be a bring-and-share lunch after the morning service, and all are welcome to join with us.
By God’s grace, a number of people have recently put their trust in Jesus Christ – praise God! But what next? We are using the Discipleship Explored course, which gives time and space to think about what it really means to live the Christian life.
This eight-week course explores Paul’s letter to the Philippians and its call to live wholeheartedly for Christ. This letter is pure dynamite and turns conventional wisdom on its head. Some on the course have been disciples of Jesus for 10 weeks, others for 10 years or more. But we are all being challenged and encouraged to put Jesus Christ at the centre of our lives.
Come along and join us – Fridays from 6.00pm until 7.30pm.
One Saturday recently, a group of NBBC Dads got together for a pizza / movie evening. We watched the film “Courageous”, which was both moving and challenging as it considered the responsibilities of fatherhood. Although thinking about our performance as fathers can just remind us of our flaws, the film also reminded us of God’s grace and kindness, and his redemptive power at work in our lives. A great evening!
